Flaws Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Flaws

Covering my flaws
With facade of new walls
Like holes in my roof
That I cover with straws.

Summers and Winters
Are kept away.
Down comes the rains
Straws soaked,
Rainwater drenching
All of my hay.

These tears like rains
Wash masks away
My smiley faces
For hot and cold days
Unearthing my true self
Pains and laughters displayed
Nalini
