Flashsplash Poem by Elizabeth Lindberg

Flashsplash

Rating: 5.0

I am glad you're gone,
Stone across the water,
you have disappeared,
not much more then nothing,
I'm losing nothing dear,
Naught but a ripple in the tide,
a skip or two,
a little bit of splash,
you had to sink, Mr. Stone,
your pleasure couldn't last,
A tidbit of a memory you leave,
Sandstone,
the ghost of a smile,
with the tide you wash away,
adios, like the wind,
there is nothing more to say
