Five Liners No.9. Altered Perception Poem by Valsa George

Five Liners No.9. Altered Perception

Rating: 5.0

In my childish innocence, I thought
The whole world laughed, when I laughed
And cried when I cried
Now I discern, the whole world laughs
When I am sad and cries when I am glad!

You are perhaps hearing an echo of it. Perhaps the rest of the world might not have seen your time table for crying and laughing. Let us say 1,2 and 3 and then cry or laugh. Then the world will follow suit.

Childish innocence has great values in life. In sadness you cry and in joy you smile. But there is no need to remain in sadness as a bright future invites with God's bless to lead and shine. This poem is emotional and excellent poem. This is very beautifully penned and shared.

“Laugh, and the world laughs with you…Cry, and you cry alone.” You are in a better position, all times the world is with you and you are never alone. As a child your approach was childish, as a young lady it was sentimental, now as a grown up grandmother, I am sure, when your grandchildren laugh you also laugh and when your grandchildren cry you also cry.

A Beautiful poem. Very true said, always opposite happens..I Can see Kavya singing a song, a true one for the situation. Say 1,2,3 start laughing or crying as told by Dinesh Sir. Very true said, world will follow. Good observation and of course beautiful is your presentation.
