Five Liners.13.Dreams Poem by Valsa George

Five Liners.13.Dreams

Wow…..How I wish it were true!
But sad, it is only a dream
Yet I will ascend the spiral stairs to the sky
Oh dreams, you winged beauties! Without thee
What an arid desert, life would be!

Beautiful poem. Very true said, Dreams are winged beauties. Though it take us to stars and pull us down. Yet, we love to dream, as without dream our life will be as good as desert! ! ! Meaningful write in few lines. Loved it.

The poem appears like an ending stanza of a longer verse that could have spoken much more. The beauty of a dream is its own alien nature. Again and again it takes us to the peaks of delight and drops us down. But still long to dream on.. A fine five liner madam.
