First you loved
and then you hurt
then I moved on
and now you're back after my heart

First you call
and then we meet
small talk tumbles
down to the street

First you apologize
to which I accepet
but in the back of my head
I truley regret

First you start over
and I follow your lead
we're introduced
and then you pick up the speed

First you tell me
about all that I've missed
fmaily bithdays and holidays
our first New Year's Day kiss

But....first you'll love
and then you'll hurt
so I'll move on
and mend my poor heart
