Firestarter Poem by Joe Howell

Firestarter

Rating: 5.0

She carried in her heart,
the fire to start
another affair

Once burnt, don't
play with matches
you and him

He took the fire
left a burnt out
flame

Now the firestarter
watches
from the cold

A very genuine write. The last line is especially compelling. Fine work, Joe. Kindest regards, Sandra
