Fireflies Poem by Gianni Vespucci

Fireflies

Come with me to catch these fireflies
Go towards the light to see what what lies
Beyond these broken walls
No worries for no one ever falls

Watch life unfold on this voyage
Here, Take some of this
And, with me, enjoy this mirage
To learn the true meaning of bliss

Trust in me, No need to be frantic
This life is now your blessing
So top it with all all that stressing
And continue with your antics

Hurry up and come so I can drop the act
By the moment I become less compact
You better be quick to react
Because we are about to make contact

You call me an unruly con artist
But I am simply here to assist
In proceeding to cause the world's trauma
I am here to put in effect your karma

I will show you irate
We will overrun this universe
True hate not from concentrate
A burden and a curse

Side by side we walk together
we now lead a life of crime
Although what is yours is mine
Sociopath in whatever weather

I am the monster under your bed
The voices inside of your head
The poison in your lead
You should've followed your instincts instead
