Finding Freedom Poem by Nichole Marie

Finding Freedom

Rating: 5.0

Absorb the radiance reflecting
from puddles after rain.
Allow the stiffness relaxation;
Let go of all the strain.

Extract the toxic poison
Of afflicting exasperation
Accented in biased hatred
And unity deprivation.

Exfoliate your past away
and leave it all behind
With sands that sink beneath your feet
Let calming waters claim your mind.
