Final Exam Poem by Itai Oscar

Final Exam

A pin rolled off her desk and fell
she clearly heard its sound as it
came into contact with the tiles
on the floor
it was not because of her sharp ears
but it was because of the silence
in the exam room
the silence was just too loud

She looked around to see if there
was anyone else in her predicament
but was disappointed to see every
head bowed as they responded
to the questions
her own mind was as blank as her
answer sheet
atleast the answer sheet had her
name on it
she wrinkled her brow
scanned her memory in vain
she did not manage to fish out
even one word on the subject

The truth of the matter was that
she was not prepared for the
exam

when David collided with Goliath
he had spent time in preparation
in the sheepfold
preparation precedes success
it gives us the ability in the final exam

let's be prepared we don't know when the Son of God would appear riding on a cloud
