Fijian Islands Poem by James B. Earley

Fijian Islands

Rating: 5.0

Howling winds in drenching pain
Across the Fiji Islands fanned
A cyclone's thrust to kiss the surf
Where once she walked the shifting sands

Then just as quickly disappeared
Into the sea from whence it came
In the distance could be heard
The mournful wailing of her name

Author's note:

James I asume Angie lost her life in that typhoon? This is a beautiful tribute to her. - Shirley
