Fighting For Relief Poem by Samantha Rose Turner

Fighting For Relief

Rating: 4.0

Life is worth so much, yet you ruin yours. You slowly kill your lungs, they begged you not to start, but now scream for you to stop. They cry out for help, Don’t you hear them crying?

Inhale the smoke, killing your self more and more each second. Does it take away your stress? Your anger? That’s the only reason you do it, but have you wondered how this began? Yes, you have. Every time you do it.

Young children see you; they follow in your steps. Smoking is becoming part of you and many others; contaminating our world...Don’t you see? It's like killing yourself in a slow, deadly way that can harm you as much as it can hurt others whom surround you each day. Hundreds start each day, many die from cancer. If that what you want, than do it, But if you really wanted to enjoy yourself and have a long happy life, don’t.

-This poem was done for a friend of mine whom is against smoking.
Hear us out.
Quit.
