I am a fighter, the survivor
I wonder where’s my family
I hear the heavy boots of soldiers running
I see the enemy all around me
I want to have a peaceful life
I am a fighter, the survivor
I pretend that some women is my mother
I feel like the death is chasing me
I touch the scars and remember the flames
I worry that many wont make it to freedom
I cry about my friend who was murdered
I am a fighter, the survivor
I understand that my village was burned
I say that one day we will be free
I dream that I will see my family again
I try to stay alive under the burning sun
I hope the days wouldn’t be as long
I am a fighter, the survivor
