Feminine
People say Feminine: -
When a Person is very emotional
When someone is sensitive
When a person gossips
And specifically when that person is a lady!
Is all that a lady means to a society?
Or is it how the society understood her?
Traveled miles to throw light on it,
Encountered a hundred and plus-
Ouch! The reciprocation is indeed a Volcano.
Doesn't a man respond the same?
Are not they with the same making?
Are not these out of being human?
If not; look unto the bold nature of the so called "Feminine"
She never had a holiday in her life,
Ever did she aspire to retire at home!
The only answer echoed after my ear is;
The helpless situation of a lady
Is what showcased as Feminine!
Now, let us give up the thoughts of ignorance
Equal opportunity; Always yields mutual success.
Femininity is out of being Human!
It is unfortunate that some negative qualities in women are given too much prominence that all positive qualities are conveniently ignored. Along with you i too feel that this is grossly unfair!
Though title is feminine, the poem touched mt heart with humanity. Good poem!

Hi Queeny, I am happy to be reading your poems. Yes! you are absolutely right. Equal opportunity should be given whether a man or a woman. Though we are in the 21st century, still there continues to be discrimination. May be lesser in the cities but surely, in the rural areas, it is much more visible. Unless the mind set changes there cannot be progress. Good poem! A full vote for you.
