Feet over soft grass

I was at same place today
i never told no one even
even you, i was tracing
my steps, i saw many eggs
i left them alone to hatch
although cold whispers come

leaves are changing colors
grass are shrinking, stubby
water is becoming clearer
no grasshoppers clinging
blooms start to shed petals
i love it we are still pals

And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
