Feelings Poem by Wendell Belden

Feelings

Rating: 4.6

Are so much like the wind

Sometimes floating our spirits like a feather

Softly, lazily up and down and all around

With no particular purpose….. joyfully… or not

And then again, like warm air rising

Lifts an eagle to wondrous heights

Where only possibilities and dreams can be seen

Or running wild and fierce toss our spirits

As a storm tosses a leaf

Lifting, crashing, turning wildly …up and down

And yet again, just as a steady sea breeze

Lifts and carries the Frigate bird far, far to sea

They can carry our spirit that greatest distance …....to another!
