Sadness creeps up on you
Like the coldness in the night,
But when it gets too cold,
Happiness is out of sight!

Happiness is like light
In the middle of the day
But then it gets ruined
By the darkness that comes that way!

Maybe the sadness the happiness
The coldness and the light,
Is locked up in a chamber,
Waiting there to fight!

Waiting there to fight
Waiting in that place
For the thing they all fear
For the end for them is really near
