Feeling The Fire Poem by Chelsea Blick

Feeling The Fire

Light a candle, a flickering flame
For every sinner and lover in the room
This world is burning, the heat is amazing
For each sinner, each child, each being
Every adolescent, stranger or veil bearer
Bridesmaid, groom or gloomy widow
A candle is sparked for all, we’re blazing
Fairy tales can exist when the candle is lit
For I cannot say what is and what isn’t
I cannot speak for the passion that grows
Each of us are flawless, each learn to bloom
This world burns hotter and brighter then Hell
Each one of us with a candle here, let us glow
Speak the language that the heart calls out for
Listen to what no mouth can speak,
And what no ear could ever hear.
