Feeling Nothing Poem by Death's Shadow

Feeling Nothing

Rating: 3.5

Screaming and sobbing,
she begs and pleads,
asking me to spare her pathetic life.

Knife in hand,
ready to strike,
it'd be so easy,
I can already taste the blood.

Now she'll give me anything,
now she says she's sorry,
now she says she loves me.

It means nothing to me
if she lives or dies,
just another person
who's betrayed and lied.

Now she see's me,
now she cares,
now she knows all the hurt she caused.

The knife falls down,
clanging to the ground by her head
as i walk away.

She has not changed,
nor will she ever.
It would be a waste
of time and effort
to kill this pathetic creature.
So she'll live on,
hating me
while I live on,
feeling nothing,
anger nor love,
regret nor hatred,
for her.
