I look at the New Year
Thinking how great it must be
Then i look at the past
ANd remember i used to be happy too
I also remember the hill that i tumbled down
I never got up til' it was to late
And even now a year later i'm still not at the top
I fear the same for you
He looks the same way to
I hope your smarter than me
THinking things more thoroughly
I did what i wanted
I don't deny that
I never saw the regret
That'd I'd have years to come
There's not much i can do
