Fear Of Kisslessness Poem by faith toney

Fear Of Kisslessness

Rating: 4.5

I looked into his eyes
and saw the fear I once held
afraid of the unknown
and simply curious
he looked so small
swollen into deep thoughts
I knew exactly what he was thinking
because I once was thinking the same
amazed by the fear that had come to surface after years
un dazed once was I
and un dazed once was he
I already took my chance and fled the fright
I had concurred my faults
he had not
the problem of the wanders mind
the “WHAT IF’S” float in the air above
silently the time goes by
my time is short
and his has ran out
my time once before had done the same
but my days were numbered
I had not known when I took that leap of faith
such damage would arise
his days may be number by me
but for futures to come he is already ahead
the exact emotion may run different through each
but I have looked directly into a mirror
informing me of the past
wish I choose not to forget
kiss less stubble through the night
thy awaken in the light
