Fear Not Poem by Cheryl .J Barclay

Fear Not

Fear not that you might make a mistake in believing
your dream.
Fear rather that if you don't go for it
You might stand before God and he'll tell you
you could have succeeded had you had a little more faith.

Fear not that you might fail.
Fear rather that you will never succeed
if you never try and if you are unwilling to take risks.

Fear not that you might get hurt.
Fear rather that you will never grow
if you wait for painless success.

The old man said to the young man,
"Why not go out, on a limb,
After all isn't that where the fruit is."
