Fault And Failing Poem by Basil Johnson

Fault And Failing

Fault and Failing
Try as you may, to get through a day without a fault or failing.
The simple fact is you can't, you may start the day with good intent,
and soon find yourself in hot pursuit, when out comes a cry it's all your fault!
You know the feeling, I'm sure you do, as there no one I know,
can claim to be without fault or failing,
So how do we get rid of these horrible twins? we know as fault and failing.

It seems it is no secret, but people seem to ignore Grace and Forgiveness,
Now these two seem to be the enemies of the horrible twins, fault and failing,
the hardness of heart of fault and failing, stops us entering the courts of Grace and Forgiveness, there is a way to the courts of Grace and Forgiveness, you need to enter through the gate of humility, now the gate of humility is so narrow that only when you lose the puffed up feeling of pride can you enter the small gate of humility.

So get rid of pride and humble yourself, and say to fault and failing I'm
Going to make a change of mind and become good friends with humility,
He is the gateway to Grace and Forgiveness and his rewards are rich and
and filled with joy, so now when I fail and am made aware of my fault,
as long as I bow in humility and admit I'm at fault, I can enter into the courtyard of Grace and Forgiveness.
