Fathers Day 2 Poem by Daya Nandan

Thank you for raising me with all your heart and life
Together with mother, my mom, your wife,
You have shown me love and care from your heart,
Teaching me the ways of life to put me on a perfect start,

Taken me to places far beyond a thousand miles,
Taught me the value of kindness and sincere smiles,
You have raised me despite all the hardships you faced
Against all the odds and obtacles that fate had placed

Financial problems upon your shoulders, bills everywhere
And yet you made it work, you still gave me love and care,
For all you have done and all we have been through
Words of my gratitude to you my father, thank you

Thank you for all the time you have spent to guide me,
An investment to show wonders of the teaching world to see,
From simple tasks to the hardest i know,
Evokes a poem of appreciation for me to show,

I have no idea how you managed so well,
Even when the stress was unbareable as the fires of hell,
I only wish i could one day be a father just like you,
Teaching my son lessons of life so true,

You have shown me life from a father’s view,
Father, you deserve more than a day to thank you,
Every single day of my life is fathers day to me,
A day to show gratitude for the world to see,

I cannot thank you enough for bringing me to this world,
Caring for my well being as if i am a golden pearl,
You have shown me the meaning of life and i am glad,
I truly am proud to be your son, i love you dad
