Father Daughter Duo Poem by Meenal Manikantan

Father Daughter Duo

Rating: 5.0

However great your support be
On a flower like a bee
Daughter does lean on father
Forlorn goes all the hammer
Tired of routine mom-talk
Smiles the girl on daddy's stock
Melts the heart twined in the run
On the baby's words well spun
Friend in her he found always
From the day he saw her face
What more does a mother look for
Than to see them laugh together?

Beautiful rendition of words with insight. Lovely poem elegantly brought forth in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Thanks for sharing Meenal.
