Fated Poem by Wendy Bureau

Fated

Rating: 3.0

I wish I could forget you
Like yesterday's washed up news
Yet, there are daily triggers
Reminders, of loveless blues

I guess being an old soul
One of romantic heart
Leaves me longing with belief
Soul mates should never be apart

Have you ever met someone?
Who in fact, does truly feel?
Not a player in disguise
But of truth, the real deal

Although causes of shared pain
Differ with ones experience
Expression can't be denied
We feel, of little difference

Shared views of what it means
To be destined in Love's fate
Both aware of timeless time
For passion knows not of date

Many years do separate
Our time spent upon thee earth
But hearts of true destiny
Are fated, in love's rebirth
