Fate Poem by Kristina Lybbert

Fate

Rating: 5.0

Looking up at the stars -
Trying to find my path.
This world is so crazy it kills.
Lost in the darkness I feel trapped.
In the distance I see a light;
The light grows brighter as I approach.
When I finally reach I feel like I'm in hell,
I hate the place I'm in
I want to leave it all behind.
Then I see a face; suddenly time stops.
A quick conversation;
An accidental meeting;
A funny lunch.
There's something here,
But what could it be?
Could it be fate?
I hope with all hope that it is.
