Fate Poem by ksanya riding

Fate

These two children all though different went through test after test.
Not yet knowing they were in training to be the absolute best.

As they grew older the tests didn't stop!
Their souls told them to fight until they reached the top.

Each of their tests were different yet similar in so many ways
Two people still in training praying to soon find the end of their maze.

With each and every test they learned something new.
Not yet knowing fate was the pushing them through.

These two people were hurting from tragic events.
Wondering why me? This can't be why I was sent.

Fate hand-picked each child right from the start.
Then sat contently watching neither child losing their heart.

Each child hurt differently as you would expect.
Each heart stayed pure, loving refusing to reject.

As they grew older and life flew by.
There seemed to be a piece missing, often wondered why.

Fate kept watching to ensure they headed the proper way.
Each stubbed but they learned to kneel ask and pray

Every challenge fate placed was to see their reaction.
One used their determination and strength the other empathy and compassion.

The two babies born each on a different nights.
Both abandoned at a young age, it didn't seem right.

Then just as fate planned from the day each were born.
There paths crossed and unconditional love bloomed no longer seemed foreign.

Fate just sat back and relaxed with a smile.
Both children understanding every life lesson was more than worthwhile.
