Carry me through Lord carry me through
Fill me with Your promised Dew
Allow Your Flame burn deep within
Purge this child of every sin

Carry me through Lord carry me through
Nothing is done apart from You
I try my best to walk Your way
Yet need Your help both night and day

Carry me through Lord carry me through
Melt me mould me make me new
All self desire I long to give
Carry me through that I may live

Carry me through Lord carry me through
Allow me join Your chosen few
When Satan tries to steal life’s crown
Your gift of faith will cast him down

Carry me through Lord carry me through
Help me stand in Jesus true
Wily Satan would lead astray
I need Your strength to fast and pray

Carry me through Lord carry me through
Abstaining all because of You
Equip this child with sword and shield
Then lead me on the battlefield

Carry me through Lord carry me through
Your holy standard’s plain in view
Allow within shine Liquid Light
Your Holy Ghost throughout the fight

Now! I’m through Lord now! I’m through
I’ve lived for Christ I’m born anew
Though narrow the road, small the door
I’ve life’s reward forever more…
