Fascinating Culture Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Slapping rhythms taking me away into a far-off
land, not previously knowing much of anything
of it's beautiful culture.

Honestly loving what I have learned about it's
gentle, amazing and often brilliant people, their
culture being fascinating, rituals and traditions
being adhered to for thousands of years.

Awesome and tantalizing, wanting to experiment
and try learning them all.

Indian dress being so very beautiful, patterns
and designs blending together, loving their free-
flowing traditional clothing, wanting to try it
one day myself.

So totally alluring, tantalizing intellect and
curiosity so completely, totally absorbing my
mind, wanting to delve fully into it.

Awesome and tantalizing, wanting to experiment
and try learning them all, hoping to visit India
soon, finding out for myself the insides of every
thing they do and believe in.

Noticing that they are an amazing and brilliant
people, gently and completely giving of themselves
to one another through family.
