Farewell My Dear Friend Poem by Lebogang Pilato Sekhukhune

Farewell My Dear Friend

Life is never a victim but it always tells a story Our friendship might have ended but the memories we shared will sail forever, I always knew in my heart that one day would be a goodbye but I never thought that our paths would be separated so soon, You are now in heaven and found yourself a new home, The gates are widely opened and the flowers are falling like the waterfalls, The angels are singing a sweet melody, and I think you should join them just as soon, I wish I could come along but god hasn't called my name, We all loved you far more than you could possibly imagine But He who loved you most wanted you more And now you have the privilege of walking by his side, I won't wait for your return because heaven wants you forever, Though you might be gone deep down I know that someday you will visit me in my dreams.
Rest In Peace
