Farewell Poem by Allian Bern Fuentes

Farewell

I used to be a dark knight knocking the door
It's my pleasure to laugh when bloods roll the floor
Don't even know who I was fighting for
Don't even know what I was hiding for

I used to say lies and hide the truth
Can't remember the rhymes and the sound of the tone
I just sang without catching the song

I used to take things without knocking the door
It's my pleasure to burn flames over the floor
And laugh until ashes don't blaze anymore

Then here it goes repeated all day
Until the light comes down from up away
I was surprised that now my sight is concrete
Then I began to clean up the slate
I began to turn off the flames
Wish I could stand up with my shame
