Farewell 2014 as you slip into oblivious past
You had walked me through ups and downs
Rewarding rich experiences to lifelong last
Filled my days with joys, seen me grown

Hastened my steps to reach my goals
Clocked my pace, stretched my time
Charted my tasks, balanced my roles
Monitored my progress towards datelines

You gave the greatest asset: the present
You gave time to amend and redirect
You gave time to heal and reinvent
You gave time to think and reflect

Time to rest my weary head
Time to relax and de-stress
Time to soak in feeling great
Time to dwell in God's rest

Thank you for my fast career progress
Thank you for mistakes, wisdom gained
Thank you for chances that reaped success
Thank you for experience-trained
Thank you for family togetherness
Thank you for the gift of faithful friends
Thank you for patience and faithfulness
I thank God for His lordship and 2014 blessings!

Your ship is waiting at the port
I bid you farewell, and let us now part!
Travelling together, you'd done your part
Now I'll move on, another journey to start
Farewell, my friend!
