Farewell Poem by Sulaiman Mohd Yusof

Farewell

Rating: 5.0

Cold soul sizzles around the body
Half cooked at first attempt
The push is harder
On the final breath
Solemn luminous light visits
And diminishes
Dusk leaps into total darkness
In a blink of eyes
The host is separated
Songs of sorrow
Fill the room
If you miss me
Flip the pages
My poems are in store

In the blink of eyes, the soul gets separated from the body.Pang of separation will be beyond description and the near and dear ones left behind, will cherish the poems till their last days.Wonderful expression and wording.Very deep message has been beautifully conveyed in limited words.

So, Mister, unless another site is paying you to post your brilliant insightful trips into the human spirit and world, how could you forsake and break the loving hearts and hungry minds of all your devoted and faithful fans? Has to be that the new site will guarantee that only readers with intelligent quotients of at least 200 will be eligible, yes? Your popularity here isn't sufficient to maintain your creative impulses and genius? Just joking. We all know life isn't fair, but there are enough of us who'll be moaning and groaning, sending subliminal messages your way to keep you awake at night...if you find your Muse has abandoned you, you'll know it's us interrupting the flow, yes? With love and best wishes, I want only the best for you. Carol
