Far Too Many People Poem by Francis Duggan

Far Too Many People

Some six billion people in the World of today
And millions are born poor and raised in the hard way
And like Nature's Seasons people come and go
In this the only World we know of or know,
Far too many people or so it does seem
And over population in some places extreme
Pollution of water of land and of air
Evidence of human made pollution to be seen everywhere
As polar ice caps are melting sea water levels do rise
That pollution does cause Global warming does not seem a surprise
The burning of fossil fuels no such thing as clean coal
Is poison to Nature's lungs and Nature's soul
With the human population explosion wildlife becoming rare
And human made pollution is clogging the air.
