Famous

A blanket is famous to a bed
Without a blanket the bed is like
A turtle with no shell

Petals are famous to flowers
Without the petals they would just be
Normal plants with no sweet smell

Fur is famous to kittens
Without the fur kittens wouldn’t be
Soft smooth and cuddly

Snow is famous to winter
Without it, it would just be
A cold summer

My arm is famous for a hug
What good could it do
If it wasn’t always open

I want to be famous
In the way a light bulb is famous or a dream catcher
Not because it did anything spectacular
But because it never forgot what it could do
