Family Fued Poem by Tessa Marsland Pettigrove

Family Fued

She blames you for what happened to me,
as a child I was molested.
You were supposed to be there watching me,
I felt so infested.

You blame her for how I get treated,
because to you I am a mother around the house.
I feel so cheated,
I am just the little mouse.

No one listens to me,
I am invisible to all of you.
I don't think how that's meant to be,
You guys have no clue.

Cause you always fight with each other,
You cannot see how it effects us kids.
you both ignore me and my brother,
we just go around doing skids.

You say you don't put us in the middle,
But you always have.
we are just a little riddle,
Just as you shave.

I barely trust anyone,
because of you.
we just seem to be a trophy you have won,
It's just something you do.

I still believe,
that you both are in love with each other.
No matter what you both can conceive,
you both just seem to like to smother.

He's married,
She's engaged.
why can't this all just be buried? ,
we feel so staged.

This is about the two people who made us kids.
