Females and males in land of yours;
Yes, we are created in land of yours, God
To live as one and as one family
Irrespective of cast, creed, religion
And all such inequalities
That exists for generations go into oblivion
When we live as a family in earth as heaven

We don’t look alike, think alike and feel alike
Yet we are family concerned for each other
You praise and adore Jesus Christ
Someone praises and adores Allah
And I praise and adore Krishna
Yet we are family concerned for each other

You belong to USA, someone to South Africa and I to India
You are a poet, someone a singer and I a musician
You are a rich man, someone semi-rich and I a poor man
Yet we are family concerned for each other
You are a child, someone young and I an old man
You speak English, someone Urdu and I Hindi
You are blessed with a lot of love, someone with some
And I am blessed with none and I am alone
Yet we are family concerned for each other

Yes, we are family- you, someone and I are family
Irrespective of differences we have
Because we live as a family in earth
And earth is our home and home is our earth
Come what may we will live as a family forever
Because we are a family now and ever, a whole
Of which you, someone and I are a part
Will remain forever in family’s heart..........
