Family Poem by Lilyann Monahan

Family

There are four in the family,
but one who's the saint.
Everything that he does is,
better not be a complaint.
My brother's in show business,
he's my mom's biggest star,
and if he does wrong,
well, at least he lives far.
Any day something happens,
which is every night,
she brags about him,
his candle is bright.
The rare times he comes here,
are yearly, if that,
He yells at me every day,
not understanding my slat.
He will not talk to me,
due to not understanding a flaw,
I have to call my illness a flaw.
I live with my mom,
and some time it comes true,
she loves him more,
and I guess I would too.
