Falling Through Poem by Claudia Scott

Falling Through

I wake up and long for your touch

I die more and more each day

I know I can't have you, but I need you to stay

Your voice,
A melody

Your smile,
A work of art

Tearing me apart, as I fall

Closer and closer to the ground
I almost made it

Reruns of your laughter play over in my head...

What good is my heart if it is dead?
