Falling Leaves Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Falling Leaves

Rating: 4.7

Youth a golden shadow
here but not to stay
like clouds the wind
may chase across the bay

an incoming tide
sweeps fallen years once gay
soon washing upon
darkening shore cold grey day

so softly
falling last leaves do fall.

Through the many stages of life, joy can be found in many different places. Even when life comes to end sorrow and loss may be felt, but memories are what you should hold dear. Thank you for the inspiring poem.... Marina Gasbey....

There is beauty in past time. And all fallen leaves return to the Earth. Nice poem.
