Falling Poem by Olivia Braun

Help me I’m falling to my end, reaching up I don’t see your hand
Lost and alone don’t think I’m going to come home,
Breaking my heart before my fall,
Shattering all the hope I had come to know
Hopeless and unwanted I feel like I’m drowning,
The tears I’ve kept inside are flooding my lungs
Unable to speak, given up on it really,
Even when I yell I’m just a whisper among the crowd
I Always know when something wrong,
Always asking trying to fix it even when I think I can’t
Even if I see the smile I know their lying,
But why then they don’t notice me crying
I could be breaking down wanting to die and
they don’t notice I’m not trying to hide it
I just want someone to care to let me know that they really are there
A wish in vain but I’m suffocating in pain and
Addicted to the razors edge….
Deeper and Deeper the pain no longer enough
Thinking about ending it is to much, the thoughts that cross my mind
Are seeming better and better over time,
Why stay where know one see me
Why bother breathing,
It seems so demeaning to pretend I mean anything
Complements out of pity about how I mean so much more, really….
I see the lies and cant confide so afraid your just going to hide
I see the way people cry over ones they’ve lost
I wonder if id mean that much, probably not
Ill just fade away into in my dismay
I just wish that I had some one there who really meant it
When they said they be there
It seem to be just another empty jester only said for the sake of saying it
I feel the cold rush over my body and matched with a searing heat
Feeling like I’m on fire as the red rushes down to my feet
Seeing the gash that hold no pain
Only an empty reminder that I’m still alive
By literal standers anyway…
But I’ve had enough, my explanation never enough
Its not that life is to hard its not that I didn’t have everything
The only thing I had missing was a place of being………
