Fallen Leaves Poem by Daisy Pereira

Fallen Leaves

Rating: 3.5

Love is a beautiful plant
requires a lot of nurture
care and attention
pains and sufferings.

Abandon, Lo, it weeps
not watered, look it is half dead
sometimes a caress, a touch,
some water now and then

It lives and it lives not
it slowly withers away
leaves fall one by one
atlast only remembrance remains
nothing else
