Sometimes all I can do is not cry
Forget 'let live and fly'
I exist and get by
You see a smile masking a sigh

Sometimes all I can do is not cry
To bring me down you try and try
You make my everyday a fray
Chase your clouds away
To find a sunshine, a ray

Sometimes all I can do is not cry
How I wish for tomorrow I can scry
know that all will be well and okay
Then I may choose to stay
Fetch the rainbows in the sky
Not to fall but to fly.
