Fall Arrived Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Fall Arrived

Rating: 5.0

Fall arrived
With usual flair
Mornings turned
Pleasantly cool.

A yellow leaf
Fell on the road
Kept on rolling
As wind blew hard.

With a sudden
Spurt of zeal
I made an attempt
To catch the leaf.

I kept running
As leaf moved fast
Leaf was faster
I could not catch.

A fresh fallen leaf
Golden yellow hue
The image'll stay
Fresh in my mind.

Yes, autumn is here, good bye summer until next year. Leaves are falling fast. I had a good picture in my mind of golden leaves. Lovely poem.
