Faith Continues Poem by Rick Elpers

Faith leads me to stay the course
In spite of convention 
and of myself
Being led up and down blind
hoping wondering breathing
who what when where why
Self defeating thoughts invade
to bring down my contentment 
Even still faith carries on
and so must I 
God started this journey with a soul 
I've named Me
So who's right is it to stifle if not kill
the soul having been through
so much becoming weary
Certainly not mine
So here I go into another day
May God bless me
And all that I do
