Faith Poem by mifael llauderes

Faith

So there it is before my eyes
I’m wide awake I see it real
How the lines of thoughts are weaved
How I’m able to perceive

If it’s a plain stimuli
I would have shrugged it off and fled
But it’s just as I have it dreamt
I can’t believe… what I believe

I counted years it’s been awhile
Until this sight that ripped my eyes
I’m so immersed in my own well
So are the rest who’ve carved their walls

Perhaps it happens all the time
But only once for every man
That we implore for second chance
But it’s the same it is the one

There it lies albeit concealed
From probing eyes that mock itself
For at a glance it’s all grotesque
Off the norm… just off the shelf

Perhaps all these are in disguise
Purposely part of grand design
To solve the mystery of life
One must “believe to understand”
