Faith Poem by Leaking Pen

Faith

Rating: 5.0

He stood on solid grounds
-No pen no paper, no recorder-
Master: Show me the rules
To avoid pitfalls of all fools.

How do you know I am a Master?
Are you blinded by my halo?
Your search is blind in its quest
Eager to believe in any test.

Roots lie deep of the Tree
Knowledge does not come free.
I ask you, how deep is your sea?
Where truth hides its key.

Not all that glitter is pure gold
Many tales have been foretold.
Faith and fable do not mix
Toss one over solves life's tricks.

To have clear eyes to know which
Is the truth, which is the lie?
Many prophets claim my Name
Do you seek me? Or their fame?

Go back to your heart and seek silence
Away from all chatter and useless matter.
Inside your heart, I never left you
Call me faith! Call me God! I am you!
