Fairy Fishes Poem by Sumit Ganguly

Fairy Fishes

When you are out of fluid medium,
air burn your skin,
choke you up to palatable mass.
Your shining body and dancing postures
allure us to bring you home,
aquariums vibrate with color and motion.

A craftsman frames you up
with copper, aluminium and glass strips.
Out of water without pain,
air keep your mobility intact.
With longer life and careless beauty
you offer pleasure dangling on strings.
