Fading Star Poem by Naveed Akram

Fading Star

This star fades while time comes,
Numbers of them fill and complete the space;
Both time and space exactly linger
To submerge us in them.
There is a linearity of the stars,
They linger, they linger, they wink.

This star forces other stars to effort fully
Reside in the fairness of the Universe;
Like Mars and Venus we occupy
The heavens to overtly distance ourselves
From the Sun.
