I am fading,
Fading away
In this dark, cruel world
I can no longer stay

I am fading
From this Earth
Fading away
From the burning hearth

I am leaving,
Fading to the sky
Maybe this way,
I can somehow fly

I am fading
From the world
That doesn't understand me
Won't let my wings unfurl

I have faded
Gone from the face
Of this terrible Earth
I have left this place

I have faded
Now it's too late
To apologize, to regret
You have woven our fate

I have faded, before long
You will fade, too, falling
Away until you disappear
I have faded, you are fading
